Day Sixteen: Rheum / Room
Another dull entry, I'm afraid. I've been in bed all afternoon resting, reading and napping after being overcome with hot-and-cold shakes at the chateau of the Comtes de Foix. It's raining. I ever so much do not want to get a cold. Madame was so kind when I came back in about 1:30 -- had me sit by the fire, brought me a cup of tea, practically tore the shoes off my feet to dry on the hearth overnight. I'll have dinner here tonight, and hopefully one good night's sleep will stop le rheum dead in its tracks.
